Dr. Esther Amagoh, PT, DPT
Dr. Esther N. Amagoh, PT, DPT, is a highly specialized Physical Therapy expert in Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education and Physical Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. Once that was completed, she progressed to earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Howard University. Afterwards, she completed a residency in Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation. Dr. Amagoh assisted in establishing a pelvic rehabilitation practice in Virginia before relocating to Houston Texas in 2016. In Houston Texas, Dr. Amagoh passionately served as a Physical Therapy Specialist at The Women’s Hospital of Texas. She managed one of their satellite office locations before branching out independently to start The Pelvic Place Physical Therapy.
Dr. Amagoh specializes in treating sexual impairments, pregnancy and postpartum pains, bladder and bowel concerns, and musculoskeletal issues. She’s an active member of professional societies dedicated to pelvic pain and sexual medicine. Additionally, Dr. Amagoh has shared her expertise as a keynote speaker at universities and pelvic health societies around world. Altogether, Dr. Amagoh is passionate about education, community service, and assisting individuals overcome pelvic health challenges.
